About Us
Mission
Our mission is to back ambitious search fund entrepreneurs with capital and first-hand entrepreneurial expertise, and to actively support them to search, acquire, and operate small and medium-sized businesses.
Founder & Managing Partner
Michael is a Berlin-based entrepreneur and investor. He co-founded and scaled LionsHome, a leading home & living comparison platform, to ~€5M EBITDA across 10 European markets before exiting to Waterland Private Equity.
Afterwards, he served as Group CEO of PubTech Group, a Waterland-backed buy-and-build platform, where he led multiple cross-border acquisitions and integrations.
With nearly 20 years of entrepreneurial experience and several years of M&A expertise, Michael founded Linta Partners to back the next generation of search fund entrepreneurs. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and began his career at Bain & Company.
Our philosophy is rooted in entrepreneurship, partnership, and active involvement — the principles that define how we work with searchers and investors alike.
Entrepreneurial Mindset
We’ve built and operated companies ourselves — we understand what it means to take ownership, embrace uncertainty, and create lasting value.
Our approach is shaped by first-hand experience, not theory — we back entrepreneurs the way we would have wanted to be supported ourselves.
Long-Term Partnership
We invest for the long run, supporting enduring businesses and relationships that extend well beyond a single transaction.
We aim to be a trusted partner throughout the search, acquisition, and operating journey — patient capital with shared ambition.
Hands-On Support
We actively engage with our searchers and portfolio companies — providing strategic input, operational guidance, and access to a trusted network.
We stay involved when it matters most, helping founders navigate complexity, scale sustainably, and build lasting organizations.
Michael is supported by seasoned advisors combining extensive private equity expertise with leadership experience in German mid-sized companies.
